Meillähän on ihana takapiha tässä rivitaloasunnossa. Ihanaa että on tuo oma tila, saa nauttia omasta rauhasta ja hieman kuopsutella - vaikken hortonomin ominaisuuksia hirmuisasti omaakkaan. Mutta .... pitkää pinnaa ja kovaa työtä se kuitenkin vaatii, jotta saadaan meille sellainen piha, jossa silmä lepää. Tällä hetkellä se ei sitä tee....

We have our own garden which I think is just great! It's nice to have a bit of ourdoor space, to be able to enjoy a bit of own piece and do some gardening - even though I'm no were near a gardener! But.... it's going to take loads of patience and hard work to get our garden to be a place where you can rest your eyes on. At the moment it's not...

Siispä työtä riittää! Kaikki nämä juuret ovat jo kaadetun koivun juuria. Koivun kanto sijaitsee juuri pihamme rajalla, joten odotettavissa on, että juuria on vielä mullan alla piilossa. Mitään ei voi istuttaa ennen kuin tuo juuriviidakko on pois revitty! Menköön koko kesä, minähän sen sieltä pois kaivan!!!
So it means I've got alot to do! All these roots are from a birch that has been cut down. The stump is at one side of our garden so it's sure there will be more roots under the dirt/mold. Nothing can be planted untill all the roots have been dug up! It'll take all summer, but I'm going to get rid of them!!!
