Lauataina kävin Tampereen kädentaidot messuilla. Kiva oli käydä näkemässä monen monituista kädentaitajaa ja tuotetta. Olipa paikalla myös Lennu, joka edustaa ristipistoja oman Violarium-liikkeen myötä. Oli tosi mukavaa nähdä muitakin ristipistonystäviä, vaikka valtaosa minulle vieraita olikin - tai vieraita ja vieraita, kyllähän ryhmissä ja sähköpostin välityksellä sekä blogien kautta "tuttuja" ollaan, nyt oli kiva saada nimimerkeille nimet ja kasvot :D Oulusta oli tosi kiva porukka, heidän kanssaan tuli käytyä kahvillakin ja höpöteltyä kaikenlaista, myös ristipiston ohi ;)
I had a great time at the Hands crafts fair, which was in Tampere. It was really a hands crafts fair with all the crafts people and their products. Lennu was also there, standing behind her own stand of Violarium. It was really nice to see stitching friends, even though most of them not so familiar to me - ok, emailing and being on different groups on the internet and also bloging friends, now it's nice to have a face to these names :D There was a nice groups of stitchers from Oulu, we had a nice chat over coffee - talking about "everything" and cross stitching ;)
Tässä omat ostokseni messuilta. Juuri sitä, mitä olin suunnitellut; pellavaista kangasta kirjekuoriin, jouluinen kangas kirjekuoren vuoreksi, enkeli nyt oli ihan pakko :D ja dmc.n light effects lankoja - tekeillä olevaan työhön.Here's what I bought from the fair, just what I'd thought I'd get; linen fab for envelopes to be stitched, a Christmas fabric for one of the envelopes, the angel was just a MUST :D and dmc's light effects floss for a stitching WIP.
Ja tässä sitten vielä antia edellisen viikonlopun pistoista - eipä valmistunut äiten lahja, vaikka kuinka yritin... no, joulu on tulossa :D joten äitelle siitä lahjaa tulossa.
And here's some stitching done a week back during the weekend - didn't get mum's present ready, even though I did try... well, Christmas is coming :D so I've got a present coming up for mum.
