Viikko sitten tiistai-iltana ajoin autoni parkkiin tuohon talomme vieressä olevalle parkkipaikalle. Ja keskiviikkoaamuna auto ei käynnistynyt. Soittokierros tutuille, että mikähän tässä nyt on, hyviä neuvoja ja ajatuksia tuli, mistään ei ollut kuitenkaan apua. Auto seisoi parkissa viikon päivät, kun ei kerta starttaa niin minkäs sille sitten tekee. Isä varasi ajan korjaamolta ja tänään minun peltilehmä sitten pääsi "lääkäriin". Ja mikäs siellä sitten vikana olikaan:

I parked my car in the parking place next to our house - this was Tuesday last week. Wednesday morning it didn't start. I called a few friends/family, wondering what's wrong with my car, got good ideas and advice, but without any help. My car was parked for a week, since it didn't start, what could I do. My dad called a garage and this morning we towed my car to the "doctors". And here's the verdict:





Joku "fiksu" oli käynyt katkaisemassa autostani bensaputket/letkut! Ja kotona työpäivän jälkeen totesin, että onhan tuota bensatakinläppääkin näköjään yritetty vääntää auki. Ja vielä nyt illalla sitten avasin tuon läpän ja bensakorkki oli ruuvattu irti. Isän kanssa kun juttelin, niin hän sanoi (haettuaan auton huollosta), että tankkasi autoon 10l bensaa. Tästä totesin, että "fiksu" oli siis onnistunut työssään, sillä tankissani oli noin 10l vielä viikko sitten tiistai-iltana. Onneksi bensakorkki löytyi, kiitos poikani, joka tarkkaan haravoi parkkipaikan takana olevaa pöheikköä ja minä sain sen ruuvattua takaisin paikoilleen.

Somebody "wise" had cut the fuelpipes of my car! And after todays workday I noticed that the flap of my car's fueltank had been damaged. And this evening I noticed that the actual cork from my fueltank was missing. I spoke with my dad this evening and he said he had bought some fuel today, so that means that "wise" had manged to take the fuel that I had in my tank a week ago. Well, my wonderful DS found the cork in the bushes next to the parking place and I got it screwed back in place.

Juttelin tuossa kahdenkin naapurin kanssa ja heidän autoilleen oli käynyt lähes sama kohtalo. Toisesta autosta eivät olleet bensaa saaneet, olivat vain naarmuttaneet autoa, toisesta autosta oli myös katkaistu bensaletkut. Ja neljäskin auto oli tihutyön kohteeksi joutunut samalla parkkipaikalla, sen vanhikoja en tiedä. MUTTA! Eihän meille voi noin käydä!!!! Lukiessaan näistä jutuista sitä ajattelee että "Onneksi ei meille!" - vaan nyt ollaan kokemusta rikkaampia (tai köyhempiä huoltamon laskun jälkeen!) Näin se vain on, että toisten omaisuuden kunnioittaminen on todella vähissä. Mietinpä tässä vain, että kuinkahan paljon "fiksu" näistä tihutöistä nyt sitten nettosi; 10l bensaa??? Ja "ilon" toisen omaisuudelle aiheuttamasta vanhingosta?? Sydämestäni nyt toivon, että tämä kokemus jäi ainutlaatuiseksi!

I talked with a couple of my neighbours and their cars had had almost the same fate. One car had been damaged the same way as mine, the other had scratches. And I found out that there had been a fourth car with the same fate too. BUT!! "Can't possibly happen to us" - only now we are one more experience richer (or poorer with the bill from the garage!). It seems that respect for other peoples property is really low! I wonder what "wise" actually benifited out of this; 10l fuel???? And the "happiness" of damaging somebody elses property??? All I can hope for - from the bottom of my heart - is that this experience is a "once in a life" one!
